Berit, from Connecticut, experiments with mind-churning, performative self-portraits. The driving force behind Berit's photographs is the power of her emotions which are translated with the use of bold edits and color. Inspired by photographers such as Sarah Ann Johnson, Lucas Samaras and Jimmy DeSana, Berit creates images using color and striking compositions to evoke sensations in the viewer. Berit graduated from Parson School of Design with a BFA in photography.
